In Dedication to my Grandfather and his Grandfather before him.

Welcome to my humble webpage. Please make yourself comfortable and enjoy yourself.

I am Metis, that is to say a person of aboriginal and european decent. The Metis are a proud race of people. Here in Canada we are of the Metis Nation. I am very interested in my native roots. I am researching the heritage and culture of my native brothers and hope one day I am able to better understand. The Metis people have thier own culture and are very proud of thier heritage.
I will attempt to show both cultures here on this page. The simularities and the differences. My native ancestors were Saulteaux, as there is little of that heritage to learn. I will do the next best thing and try to show the Cree side of it, as they are related. My attempt will be to post pictures, symbols and music, all with full description. Should I err, please feel free to correct me.
I'm not sure If I can attach wav's to this site or not. Does anyone know for sure?

The wolf as long been a symbol of my fanily. I remember my Grandfather having a wolf's head and a dancing stick hanging on the wall, under that was a picture of St. Francis of Assini hanging below that.
Strange huh? But remember we are of mixed blood, thats what Metis means.
